Root Canal Treatment
The clinic's most-requested treatment, and the one patients write home about.

Root canal treatment is easily the procedure Dr. Jain's Dental & Health Studio hears about most from patients afterward — usually because it went nothing like they expected. When the soft tissue inside a tooth (the pulp) becomes infected or inflamed, usually from deep decay or a crack, a root canal removes that tissue, cleans and shapes the canal, and seals it — saving the natural tooth instead of extracting it.
Serving patients from Kopar Khairane, Vashi, Ghansoli, and across Navi Mumbai.
Who this is for
Anyone with a persistent toothache, sensitivity to hot or cold that lingers, or a tooth that's become tender to bite on. A dentist can confirm whether a root canal is actually needed with an exam and X-ray — not every toothache means one.
Our approach
- Local anesthesia, applied properly and given time to take effect before starting
- Removal of the infected pulp tissue, followed by careful cleaning and shaping of the canal
- A secure filling and seal, with a crown recommended afterward for back teeth that take heavy biting force
- Composite filling and restoration handled in the same visit wherever possible
Frequently asked questions
Is root canal treatment painful?
The procedure itself is done under local anesthesia and shouldn't be painful. Some tenderness for a day or two afterward is normal and manageable with standard pain relief.
Will I need a crown after a root canal?
Often yes, especially for molars — a root-canal-treated tooth can become more brittle over time, and a crown protects it under normal biting force. Your dentist will advise based on the specific tooth.
